Terms of service

Using the service

Using Background Remover means accepting these terms. Upload images you own or have permission to process. Do not upload unlawful material, attack the service or bypass its rate limits.

Free and HD downloads

Free downloads are capped at 0.25 MP. A newly metered HD image costs 1 credit per HD image. Re-downloading the same image in the same session does not spend another credit.

Billing

• 3 credits: $1.89 per pack.
• 25 credits: $8.99 per pack.
• 150 credits: $45.99 per pack.
• Monthly: $5.99 per month.

Credit packs expire after 1 year. The monthly subscription grants 100 credits per billing period and renews until cancelled. Subscription credits expire at the end of that period and do not roll over. Cancel renewal through the billing portal in your dashboard.

Your images

You retain your rights to uploaded images. Files are deleted according to the privacy policy. Keep your originals and download results you need.

Results and availability

Review results before using them. Background removal can miss fine details or remove part of a subject. The service is provided as is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or suitability for a particular use.
